Femtech Entrepreneurship Weekend - 2024
Whether you're a student, a researcher, a healthcare professional, an entrepreneur, or someone passionate about making a significant impact in women’s health, we invite YOU to bring your ideas, expertise, and energy to our event! The Femtech Entrepreneurship Weekend combines the best elements of a hackathon, an ideation workshop and entrepreneurial training focused on the women’s health space. Over the course of a two-day event, participants bring ideas to pitch, form teams and develop business plans for new technologies and solutions across the women’s health space. This event is supported and sponsored by the BioInnovation Institute.
The Femtech Entrepreneurship Weekend will be held on Friday 15th March, 5 – 8 PM GMT and Saturday 16th March, 8.30 AM – 6.30 PM GMT at the Pitt Building in Cambridge, UK. Food and drinks will be provided on both days. Accepted participants will be asked to pay 20 £ to contribute to covering the costs of the event.
Ready to make a difference? Fill in this short application form and you will hear from us whether you have been accepted within two days! We will then send you the Cambridge Femtech Society's bank details for you to make the 20 £ payment. The deadline for completing the application form is Friday, 1st March 2024.

Venture Creation Programme - 2022
Do you have an idea for a new venture? Or want to bring your skills and passion for innovation to a founding team? Join us and Cambridge Judge Business School at our Femtech Venture Creation programme supported by Bayer Pharmaceuticals!
You will be able to work in a team and a community of like-minded individuals and mentors offering their support and shared experiences. Bring your ideas and skills to the first Femtech Venture Creation programme weekend either as a founder or team member and watch the possibilities emerge!
We are proud to have partnered with the Judge Business School and with Bayer, a leader in the women’s health space, to organise the first Femtech Venture Creation Programme. This is a great stepping stone for any students, academics or researchers considering venture creation and looking to have an impact on the clearly underserved and historically overlooked women’s health industry.
What is the Venture Creation Programme?
Managed and delivered by the Entrepreneurship Centre of the Cambridge Judge Business School, the programme is aimed at people considering entrepreneurship and new venture creation. Either participants have an idea for a new venture and are looking for founding team members to help them take the first steps towards creating that venture or they want to offer their passion and skills for entrepreneurship to a founding team.
The programme's two stage process is designed to match great ideas with amazing talent and provide a springboard (Venture Creation Weekends) and an ongoing programme of support (Venture Creation Labs) to people wanting to create high impact and scalable new ventures.
